The Incredibly True Story of Incredibly Strange Wrestling

In honor of Pride 2026, Harley sits Em and guest referee Brie Montoya down to tell them the story of forgotten San Francisco promotion Incredibly Strange Wrestling!
In 1995 a group of untrained wrestlers in a transmission repair shop put on bootleg lucha libre masks and adopt names like The Man From M.O.N.K. and Chango Loco, fighting each other between sets from local punk bands, while fans hurl corn tortillas at their head.
Within a few years they'll be featured in The New York Times and Teen People, tour Europe, attract members of Green Day and Limp Bizkit to their shows, and draw the ire of the Church of Scientology.  How did it all happen?
